Through interactive exhibitions exploring science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM), National Children’s Museum is developing young minds and inspiring children to care about and change the world.
Climb into the clouds with the incredibly engineered Dream Machine, a full three-story climber with slide and multiple ‘cloud’ platforms, is also wheelchair accessible at multiple points. Located near the Dream Machine, Little Dreamers is a cloud-and flight-themed area for infants and toddlers features custom fabricated scenic structures that encourage movement and connection. Interactivity is demonstrated in Data science alley allows children to step through colorful, reactive gateways, send a pom-pom through tubes and in the process, discover how data points are collected and aggregated. Engineering Games + play lets visitors design, build, and send vehicles down our “On the Go-go” track.
