DESCRIPTION: A majestic new visitor center represents Phase 2 of the new John James Audubon Center for Art and Conservation at Mill Grove. The new center and renovated historic house, will feature interpretive graphics in the and exhibits about bird migration, songs and flight, habitats, feathers, conservation and much more! USA and designer Gecko Group have already successfully teamed with local historic consultants to complete Phase 1’s the Historic Mill Grove House at the John James Audubon Visitor Center.

In addition to fabrication, USA helped provide interpretation and background for different aspects of Phase 1’s Historic Mill Grove House, supporting its historical and environmentalist significance. USA worked in close collaboration with printers, woodworkers and the many stakeholders involved with the project, to comply with all historic preservation guidelines set by Montgomery County, PA, and the National Audubon Society. The museum exhibits reflect the National Audubon Society’s focus on bringing together science, education, advocacy, conservation efforts and collaboration. Anchor stations present key themes and orient visitors to some of the amazing qualities of birds and Audubon’s remarkable work through a mix of traditional interpretive panels, coupled with tactile, auditory, and hands-on interactive elements and engaging digital multimedia.
