Our friends over at the Museum of Discovery unveiled the new Atrium Climber to the public over the weekend. If you find yourself in the Little Rock area, stop by and celebrate this momentous event. Even though we’re wrapping this project up, it is just the beginning of more exhibits and more changes for them and we’re so honored to be their partner on this journey.
Two stories, three towers, tunnels, slides, and bridges make up this climbing experience.
Serving as the fabrication partner for this monumental exhibit, we collaborated with HOS! Studio, the exhibit design partner, and the Museum of Discovery team to ensure the largest exhibit in their museum’s 95-year history is safe and fun for years to come.

We wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving. For those who are looking for a few creative alternatives to kick off of the holiday season, here are a few ideas to enjoy this time of year.

  • Plan a Friendsgiving Thanksgiving meal over the weekend to celebrate the holiday and bring different dishes to lessen the load of cooking, which typically falls to the host. You can create a signature drink for the event or show up with everyone’s favorite, green bean casserole.

  • Another way to spend Thanksgiving is giving back. You can volunteer at a shelter or soup kitchen where meals are provided free of discrimination. If you’re unsure of where to offer your time, check out Volunteer Match to find a non-profit near you.

  • You could pack the family up and head out to a museum or a go on a hike. Some museums and nature preserves are open on Thanksgiving, and it’s a great way to check out an art collection or your favorite trail without the crowds. After some inspiration and reflection, head to a nice restaurant or a pack a picnic if you opt for the hike.
