CLIENT:
Fairmount Water Works
Philadelphia, PA
DESCRIPTION: USA started working with Fairmount Water Works 10 years before the Interpretive Center became a reality by building a scale model for fundraising. After many years of planning and design, USA was contracted to fabricate and install all of the exhibits. We provided interactive exhibits, graphics, media integration, scenic and working scale models. The center is located at the original Water Works building in Philadelphia, and experiences regular flooding from the nearby Schuylkill River. All exhibits are built to withstand water damage, and we engineered a custom hoist system for staff to quickly lift exhibits off the floor in flood conditions.
