DESCRIPTION: Our changing earth was the focus of these highly interactive exhibit halls, located throughout the new addition to the Virginia Aquarium. USA worked closely with aquarium staff, designer, and the general building contractor to develop interactive scripting, and provide prototyping, testing, fabrication and installation. Exhibits included artifact displays, graphics, scenic fossil replicas, and interactives about Riparian Buffers, Ocean Origins, Our Puzzled Earth, Sediment, Mass Extinctions, Crater Formations, Volcanoes, Salt Creation, Ecosystem Balance, and Live Oysters. The whole visitor experience culminated in a walk-through kaleidoscope with images about the aquarium's role in local conservation efforts.
