DESCRIPTION: Parkopolis features a STEM-focused, learning interactive, developed by Temple University in collaboration with Please Touch Museum. Parkopolis is designed to promote engagement, physical activity and STEM-focused learning dialog between adults, children, and peers. The exhibit shows how t children learn STEM concepts through play and physical activity. Parkopolis was developed under the leadership of Temple University Psychology Professor Kathy Hirsh-Pasek through Temple University’s Infant and Child Lab in collaboration with Please Touch Museum.

Please Touch Museum visitors to the exhibit will step onto a life-size board game and be met with a variety of fun and colorful learning prompts. Additional exhibition elements include two life-size dice tumblers and a life-size card deck meant to prompt facilitated engagement, movement and play.
