Native American Voices: The People – Here and Now

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Native American Voices is the newest long-term exhibition presented by the Penn Museum. This 2,000 square foot exhibition tells important stories of Native American successes in achieving independence as sovereign, self-governing Nations. There are more than 200 objects on display from the expansive North American Collections. Some of the oldest artifacts are displayed side-by-side with contemporary Native American objects and artwork. USA engineered all nineteen display cases for ease of access such that planned rotations of objects on display can be accomplished safely and efficiently for the next five years. The display cases are custom fabricated assemblies of steel frames, glass, and cabinetry made with conservation-approved materials. USA also designed and built the exhibit furniture used for the seating around the multimedia centerpiece exhibit.
